We went superbowl Sunday. There weren't any other college kids that came in. It's cash only but they have mixed drinks. I think a pool table or dart board would really do wonders for the atmosphere, maybe it's more fun on a Friday night.
I got absolutely hammered here last weekend and the bartender kept giving me the stink eye-roy
I go to this bar every time I visit because it is tradition by now. I think they should take care of it. Women's bathroom doesn't lock and the door is so short that you can see the person in the toilet. The place smells bad and it's dirty. The bartender, as usual, very friendly and nice. Staff is always great. But the place hasn't been taken care. The position of the tables are awful. This is a place that has the space and has potential, but unfortunately the owner doesn't invest time or money on it to make it look nice.
The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is fantastic. It's a great spot to relax and spend time with friends.
I went to enter the bar and noticed multiple signs saying that entering any bar with a firearm is against Utah law and you will be removed immediately. Huh, that’s weird because that isn’t Utah law. But whatever. As soon as I entered the short bartender girl, before even asking for my ID, asks “do you have anything dangerous in your bag” out of nowhere. I was carrying a briefcase/laptop bag with a shoulder strap. I said no of course. Then the bartender asked fairly aggressively for my ID. I was initially going to drop of some fliers and have a drink but because of the weird vibes I didn’t do either. I don’t know if there was a shooting there or something but when I want a relaxing cocktail I don’t want to have an agro TSA experience along with it. Would not recommend.
