Millstone Southern Smoked Bbq - Logan

So there was a wait. But with food that good, it's understood. I swear this place should be on Dinners and Dives. Or whatever that show is called.

As a man from the south that has grown up on southern bbq; this “bbq” is a blasphemy to anyone that serves true bbq. Ordered 1/2 rack ribs not baby backs but whatever. Sauce on the side . Order of “Texas Brisket”. lol ribs look like the came out the microwave and got put on the skillet for 30 sec with absolutely no seasoning. I guess we rely on sauce not cooking. Brisket like cardboard with smoke and some seasoning. I’ll give u that. Fries were horrible and buried under my bbq, but I guess nice try. Only thing good was mashed potatoes and gravy. Take Carolina out yall name u disrespecting us, or step your game up. Smh ????

Almost a full 5 stars, I wish the food was as good as it used to be. The appetizers are typically very good, sides are great, but the main course BBQ, the whole premise of the restaurant is lacking. Over the past several visits the meat is sometimes dry or lacking any flavor. Lots of drink options and the service is super quick. Staff are always very friendly and helpful checking in frequently to make sure you have everything. Very cool location and environment! Everything is clean from entrance to table to restrooms.

Drove from Columbus to try them out. Appetizers were awesome. Overall food and service was average.

Only time to even consider going is before 5pm. The place gets ridiculously busy. However, if you do go early and they try to sit you in the area close to the bar means the Bartender is your server. So when the more busy it gets the less you will see your server. Then you all must ask yourself one question. If they are selling bbq, where are the smokers? I imagine that it is GFS out of a semi truck delivered, but certainly not smoked on site. They do have good baked sweet potatoes and good house side salad.
