The service could have been improved, and the ambiance, although authentically Afghan, was replaced by lounge music and lacked the Afghan flair. The food is expensive and simply prepared and presented. The main courses, Qabulipalou and chicken, as well as tandoori, were all poorly prepared and served in portions that were less than half their high prices. I don't understand how this restaurant received such a high rating, as it confuses those looking for an authentic Afghan restaurant. The Afghan ice cream and ferni were heavily laced with rose water, which made the dessert inedible. Overall, my experience was frustrating and did not meet my expectations.
