The staff, the service, the rooms and the whole drummer was just perfect. Every little wish has been fulfilled without standing. A very great praise to the entire team of the Shadow Mill, you are simply class, keep doing so.

Drea... read more First of all, a very big thank you to all employees, Mr. Michael Frei and the entire team. We celebrated our wedding in the ShadowMühle and it was a dream. Dream scenery, super rooms, delicious food. You can't do it better. It was a beautiful weekend. Unforgettable...Thank you again

Includes two larg... read more We were very kindly received by the boss and a lady in costume and our walking lunch package (can be booked for 5 € was also already targeted. Includes two large breads ( sausage cheese, an apple, a cereal bar and 1.5 liters of water. The next surprise was the rooms. Everything very new and really very clean! The rooms were rustic, but you had everything you need. Even a small flat-screen TV was available. The bathroom was a little small, but absolutely sufficient. After the hike we were K.O. in the evening and hungry. Then, of course, wanted to eat in the shadow mill, but had not reserved. The place was of course full. But pleasantly, the house had reserved a table for us. Absolute plus! The food and drinks are a little higher price, which I think can be understood. After all, this is a seasonal domicile. There you can not offer a Cola for 2 €. For that, the food came super fast and it was plentiful. The biggest surprise was for my girlfriend.... a complete page with vegetarian dishes. She was very happy about it. Breakfast the next day was very plentiful. A basket full of rolls and bread, various jams, nutella, honey, 2 x different sausages and cheeses 3 cans of coffee. Only criticism: You could possibly. Attach curtains for rooms to the street :D We were really happy. Absolutely recommended for hikers and guests. With a very nice boss. Next year we see each other again : <3
