There was a group of coffee in the restaurant (which had brought their own cake). There was external operation for rafters. After we had waited 15-20 minutes and wanted to leave again, someone came to our table with a dirty T-shirt and asked for our wishes. We could just order coffee before we could keep talking, the employee was gone again. A cup was covered from the inside with old crumbs, a clean one. The coffee h... View all feedback.
Average restaurant, if you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed. Service could be faster a bit
I can't judge the room because we were just up for dinner and to climb the tower. The staff was friendly and tried. For the many visitors, the staff did not suffice. With the drinks it worked very well, unfortunately not with the food. We had to wait very long for the food. The food itself tasted good. Serivce power was still apologising.
We stayed there, with prior reservation. The tables were tidy. Service was ok, extra requests for the children were received. The card is very clear, food tastes, but is little. For prices you have expected larger portions. What we didn't like on each plate was decorated with spray cream ... parking is available, but only a few. The view and the cast iron tower are really great.
We only drank two cups of coffee in the evening. A bit irritated we were that we had to go inside to order, because nobody came out to look. Otherwise everything was fine, as I said, only coffee was a bit expensive, but it was quite strong and tasty.
Actually, you wouldn't have to forgive a star and report the store to the authorities. We booked an overnight stay in the Berghäusel from 25.12.21 to 26.12.21. Already at check in the restaurant, none of the employees wore a mask, a trace of contact or proof of vaccination nobody wanted to see. Unfortunately, as we only picked up the key and did not enter the room, we only noticed in the evening that there was no electricity in our room. At that time, of course, no one was in the restaurant to help us. So we moved to the cold hall where there was light and electricity. Of course, that was very pleasant with a child. The next day the same game, again the waiter wore no mask. The problem with the light addressed was neither an apology nor any other contradiction. On our request a partial refund of the room price was only referred to the boss, of course this was not yet in the house. The blanket at breakfast was sown with spots that butter expired for almost two months. The waiter wore neither mask nor seemed very hygienic. He coughed regularly why we broke our breakfast early. Instead of a mask, the dear Lord would rather wear a cat around which then walked joyfully over the tables. On the same day, the owner, Mrs. Ines Koch, addressed by phone to the maladministrations, seemed to be a bit upset, unfortunately, she also did not get an excuse. She secured us a partial refund to which we are waiting for almost three weeks and another call later. I now give the case thanks to testimonials and comprehensive evidence in the form of photos and videos to a lawyer. I can only warn anyone again here just one foot in this place or Hotel to put. Especially in pandemic times where everyone should pay attention to the others, every hygienic rule is kicked with feet. I can only strongly recommend to the competent authorities to check the premises and, if appropriate, close them. We're just mad at what can still be in today's time.
