Passing thru and had heard lots of great feedback, had to stop for lunch. Food and service was great. Prices very reasonable. Want to try to get back for dinner when salad bar is open. Was there on a Sunday for a family-style meal. We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn, with the salad bar. The salad bar was good. The chicken was pretty delish! The potatoes were a bit wonkynot sure what spice ? was added, but it wasn’t the tastiest. Corn in Illinois is dangerous! Food was good. However some of the wait staff wasnt very good. My waitress was not very good if it i had to rate just on that i would give a 1 star but there were other waitresses who were working very hard and did take their time to stop at our table to check on us since our waitress spent most her time on her cell phone. So if you go i would choose to sit in the tall dark haired girls section or the short older ladys section.
Small town restaurant . Probably the only restaurants around there. Great food I delivered a truckload of chicken around the corner . CASH ONLY, they do have an ATM inside.
