Uncle G's Ice Cream - Lockport

I've been meaning to stop here for a long time. I wish i had stopped sooner. Imagine my surprise when I ordered a black raspberry ice cream, and they asked me if I wanted regular or soft custard! Black raspberry soft custard, OMG! YES. Great shaded porch to sit and eat your ice cream. It was a nice experience all around.

Having dairy-free options available is a great benefit for those who require them. However, the portion sizes could be more generous considering the price. Despite this, the quick service and outdoor seating are positives that help offset this drawback. Overall, not a compelling reason to come back, but still a decent experience.

We love uncle gs, great gluten free options for cones both regular and sugar cookie. They have oat milk alternatives. Perry’s ice cream is labeled what gluten free. Conveniently on the empire bike path. They have pup cups but are not gluten free.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered at this restaurant! The cheeseburger on a large, delicious bun was a standout, and the GIANT sweet potato fries with honey butter were incredibly tasty. Each member of our family ordered a different flavor of ice cream in a different type of cone, and all were absolutely delicious. The food arrived quickly and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant has a beautiful covered patio with tables and umbrellas in the sun, right by the bike path. We will definitely return in the future!

Had the Nashville chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. Followed by some ice cream. Wonderful staff and food to go with.
