First time visiting, on recommendation of friends. I was impressed with the amount of food I got literally enough for 2 meals for me. The barbacoa was spicy and delicious. The beans were creamy and a perfect counterpart to the spice. The churro was the best finishing touch. I enjoyed it and will be back! I didn't take a picture I was hungry and it was making my mouth water! View all feedback.
What Chicago Cub doesn't like about Tortacos:
Sad that Chipotle is better . Thought I’d give this Mom and Pop place a try never again . also chill on the salt You the owner would you eat that meat sitting in a container that comes in a bag!? View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious kinda Ma Pa Mexican restaurant. The steak tacos and Al Pastor tacos were both outstanding.
Loving everything we just ordered from here but this steak and potato burrito is definitely my favorite! Thank you for the good food and great service!
We had just moved to the area and every time we would go back and forth from the old house to the new house we would drive past this restaurant. It looked small and it didn’t catch our attention much. But yesterday we decided to give it a try and we loved it. My parents became good friends with the staff that same day. It was such a great experience that we decided to go again today because it was so close to us. First of all the staff were extremely friendly. They would check in on us multiple times without making it awkward or very constant. Then if you wanted to talk with them they would listen and you could have a casual conversation without feeling like your talking to strangers. They made you feel welcome while in many other places, they just want you to leave so they can pick up the tip. Secondly, the food was amazing. I ordered a hamburger and a steak sope. The rest of the table ordered an “Al pastor” torta, a steak burrito, and a taco dinner(two “Al pastor” tacos and one steak taco). It was all great. The amount of meat inside everything was insane. Everything was well made. The burrito is massive and filled with a lot of everything. For the drinks we all ordered Horchata. It was amazing, It was so long since I had tasted Horchata like this. By the time we got full, we still had food left to take home. The price is fair, I mean you get what you paid for. Don’t get me wrong either it is not expensive at all considering the amount of food we ordered. Finally, the place is small but cozy. It can get really crowded at times but it’s manageable. There is a certain smell sometimes that can get bad but it’s due to the area the restaurant is located in and the staff can’t do anything about it but don’t worry it goes away. Also, they have benches in case you want to eat outside. Overall a great Mexican restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for great authentic Mexican food with great quality. It's a family restaurant that puts lots of love into what they do and in general just great people. Easy 5 out of 5.
Got a steak burrito and taco Al pastor (pork). Both extremely tasty and good portions. Will go back for lunch on occasion.
Walked in the Door and then walked out ... THE SMELL was Awful , Couldn't even stand in there to Order ! This is Sad for I seen so Many Good Reviews on Here and have wanted to try it out , especially since I seen it was painted and now Take Debit Card ! You couldn't pay me to eat Tacos in a Place that has that Kind of a Smell : sadly I won't be giving this place another Try ! Anyone else smell what I smelled today before ?!?
