Stopped in while traveling across I80. Excellent service by Megan, great food, and local pub atmosphere. Neighborhood joint with lots of regulars, one who bought a round for the bar! I have always liked the Old Corner but what bothers me is that it often is difficult to place an order. Often there used to be a busy signal and tonight after trying to place a rather large order we received a message stating that the wireless customer is not available. No stars. The Philly is the worst I have ever had. Covered in marinara sauce and completely tasteless.
The new owner is a great guy. The place has changed a little but most of the people inside are all the regulars. Food is still great and I can highly recommend the cheeseburger sub but you better be hungry if you order a large!
Great little place. Stopped after a swim meet and ordered pulled pork, the corner deluxe burger and two salads. So much food the salads can be split. I struggled to finish the burger
I have visited this restaurant for a few years now. It beats just about any other fast food restaurant I can think of in this town! Great food and great service!
I stopped by this restaurant while traveling on I-80, and I was really impressed. Megan provided excellent service, and the food was fantastic, all set in a friendly local pub atmosphere. It felt like a neighborhood spot with plenty of regulars, one of whom even treated everyone at the bar to a round of drinks! Since the outdoor tables were occupied, we opted for the bar area. The homemade Thai peanut sauce on the wings and the Old Bay dry rub were exceptional and definitely not your typical chain restaurant wings. The burger was delicious, accompanied by some tasty slaw fries. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again!
