THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED! It appears damaged by Hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, Google says it is still open. Hope it will come back because it was a great restaurant with the very best key lime pie! UPDATE: January 18, 2024, despite what Google says, this restaurant is still closed, and under renovation due to damage by hurricane Ian. View all feedback.
What Paul Iannace doesn't like about Keylime Bistro:
The food was decent, not bad at all, in fact the fresh salsa was amazing and the food had its own unique flair which I 'd recommended to try. However; we were in for a quick dinner for over an hour and a half, other tables received service before us while we were in 10+ before them, and the food would sit on the counter for 15+ minutes before being served to our table (party of 4). It was not even half full inside an... View all feedback.
Food took 45 minutes to come and when it did it was horrible. visually disgusting and overpriced. Other customers nearby were also complaining about the long wait. Don’t go here
Would have loved to go here. However it is still not open due to Hurricane Ian
I loved the Loose Caboose (The longstanding and well loved business here before) It was one of the best and favorite spots on the island. Coming back to visit and eating here was heartbreaking. Garbage food and service in exchange for stealing the once loved location, unacceptable.
A total of 4 people ate. After lunch everyone was still hungry and we had to order something else. In addition, the glasses and cutlery were very dirty and looked used. Our barmaid was also very overwhelmed with our 4 positions. We waited around 25 minutes for the others to waitres come to us to take the order. We also paid $90 for 4 dishes, which was way overpriced. Definitely not recommended.
We stopped in only because we heard a Flute being played beautifully and we could tell it was LIVE and just had to see who it was. We followed the sounds and found Keylime Bistro and Paul Rozmus playing Flute, Piano and singing. Absolutely amazing! My wife, Jessica Gray, who is also a singer even sang with him. The music was fantastic and the food turned out to be delicious as well, especially the Key Lime Pie, OMG! We sat on the deck with perfect weather all around. Highly recommend Keylime Bistro!
