We climbed up to the Cite Royal (which we liked) and found a few rather pricey restaurants. Then, just opposite the must-see church, we spotted this little place. Prices are extremely good, for instance my wife had a very nice quiche and salad for 4.40 euros. Service was excellent. We sat outside looking over at the church. One of the "discoveries" of our holiday in France View all feedback.
A disgrace to France almost burn galettes and stodgy crepes. So disappointed- read reviews and find a better restaurant put me off crepes forever
Not a place to eat in lightly, in fact not a place to eat in at all! We were forced in by a heavy rain-storm and from the very few items available on the menu (for example, all salads were off) chose a croque monsieur and two crêpes salées. The materials of the crêpes seemed to come out of a packet, and the croque was soggy and inedible. This is a shame for a the location is excellent and the staff pleasant and obliging, but unless it improves greatly Au Caprices d'Agnès should be avoided by anyone with an interest in food.

The St James is an exceptional place just 30 minutes from Bdx city center, you find yourself in a calm environment, with a spectacular view of Bdx.
Fantastic! _We went there for lunch and the service was outstanding.
