We chose the... read more Second visit to this Loches restaurant inbetween which it has achieved star status with Michelin. food was special and presentation extraordinary. We chose the 5 Temps menu with paired wines, and began with a cocktail maison which triggers superb nibbles. Presentation of all plates was sensational, with colour enhanced with edible flowers which all gave an extra flavour to these superbly prepared dishes. Particularly enhancing was the use of fruit in vegetable accompaniments to the fish and chicken dishes. The crockery used was stunning. the dining experience lasted 3 hours and the service was top class from all the team. This restaurant is now up with the best in all of France and this young chef is making a name for himself outside the region. The courgette flower course is becoming his signature dish and is exceptional. For this quality the price is excellent, though obviously the most expensive in town. For a dining experience you will never forget treat yourself. Congratulations to Clement, Oceane and all the team.

The cooking here really is at a di... read more When we were last in Loches in 2019 we ate in four different restaurants and Clément Dumont had yet to launch Arbore et Sens. The cooking here really is at a different level from anytrhing else in the town. We enjoyed the seven course tasting menu. The food was delicious and its presentation was a thing of beauty. Four days earlier we had eaten in a Michelin starred restaurant in Normandy. What Clément Dumont gave us was every bit as good, possibly better. Yes, it was expensive, but you have got to pay for ths level of quality.
