Lobee's Cafe and Takeaway - LOBETHAL

The park is beautiful with lots of shaded and grassy areas. The manager, Dan, was very friendly and helpful, allowing us to pick the site that we liked best. It was quiet at night and only a short 2-minute walk to the beach.

We just had the most amazing bacon and egg sandwich at this restaurant! It was cooked perfectly by a friendly lady behind the counter. The picture says it all. The price was great for what you get - two eggs, bacon, and any other toppings you want between two slices of buttered bread toasted on the grill. Don't miss out on this hidden gem if you're driving through.

The first time we ordered takeaway from here it was less than average... tonight we thought we would give it a second chance and the food was terrible! Wont be back!

Lobee's is a simple cafe and takeout spot with welcoming service and incredible breakfast value. For just $20 for two people, you can enjoy two slices of thick toast, two eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, a generous helping of bacon, and a cup of tea. You won't find a better deal than that!

We arrive at this rather ordinary looking café for coffee and cake on the rebound, after discovering that the nearby bakery closes at 3. There are just a few tables inside and the fittings are rather old – as, unfortunately, is our lemon meringue. However, the lady in charge is very friendly, and my cappuccino is served nicely to order. Also, you have to say that the tea served is inexpensive at $2 a cup! We also find on display a very attractive box of organic teas for sale – an item we have not seen elsewhere, which we buy.
