What User doesn't like about Rio Verde Floating Resto:
Not good experience we wated for an hour to get on board and dine in, just to know that they made a mistake on our ticket number. Not even an apology from anyone. No good. Service: Dine in View all feedback.
We went on a river cruise in Bohol, recommended by our driver from Cebu. The restaurant had two menus, one with more seafood options and one with non-seafood items at a lower price. Depending on your order, you get seated on a boat at the dock. There were 6 boats operating while we were there. You can start eating as soon as you board, with buffet-style food in the middle for you to serve yourself. Be careful, as you only get one food plate and one soup plate. The food was average Filipino cuisine. The boat waited until all tables were full before sailing, giving us a pleasant ride along the beautiful river banks. However, the tables were too close together, and the singer on board was overly loud and not very good. After a short ride, we visited a native village where taking pictures cost extra. It felt like a tourist trap, but it was only a small fee. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, with good food, entertaining entertainment, and lovely views. We would consider trying another similar cruise company in the future.
We were there to experience one of the advertised floating restaurants. We discussed the process with the staff the day before. It was important to us that we actually drive while we eat. Otherwise the whole thing would just be a pointless and overpriced meal. In fact, we did NOT leave. We just stayed there during the mediocre buffet dinner. You don't even notice that you are on a boat. After eating you go on another boat to look at the fireflies. That was quite good. I can only advise against eating. Aside from being overpriced, everything is at most lukewarm, many containers are empty and only a small amount of water is included, despite the exorbitant price. Next to us, a Korean family also seemed disappointed that they had to change boats for the tour. So we're obviously not the only ones who felt deceived here. The staff simply shrugged their shoulders at our complaint. The whole thing is a huge disgrace.
Not recommanded about the price (950p) to get cheap and cold foods. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
