And I must say, our ex... read more We chose this restaurant based on the numerous positive reviews, with a very specific goal: to feel at home, without sacrificing quality. And I must say, our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Here, you truly eat like there 's no tomorrow. Every dish exudes passion, tradition, and care: from authentic Ligurian specialties to the simply marvelous paella, to the mind-blowing pasta e fagioli. And the snails... I haven 't eaten them this good since my grandmother used to make them. A true thrill. But what makes this place special is its soul: an extraordinary couple of owners. He 's friendly, welcoming, and able to immediately put you at ease; she 's a delicate, elegant presence, with genuine kindness. Everything is always done with great courtesy, without ever being intrusive. It 's one of those rare places where you return not just for the good food, but for how they make you feel. We 've become a regular: every time we 're in Loano, we return. Even several times a month. Because it 's truly worth it.

I tried the tripe...excellent. My wife enjoyed the pasta with beans and mussels, which was fabulous. My son's paella was as good as the one he tried in Menorca. Next time, I'll definitely try the Ligurian-style rabbit...everything was delicious, including the desserts. The staff is friendly, helpful, and approachable. I'll definitely visit again and again.

Location 4, despite being right in the historic center, doesn't have a sea view (unless they've since created one), but only a view of the square; it's not suitable for large groups. However, precisely for this reason, it's very quiet. Ideal for relaxing. Menu 4.5, sufficiently varied. I recommend the multi-tasting dish. Service 4.5, friendly but with explanations of the dishes and wines. Quality 5, the flavors are the strong point: great variety, different from each other, not heavy. Value for money 5, considering we're right in the center, in Liguria, and the quality, it's undoubtedly a winner. Highly recommended.
