Food was good,however the new potatoes were uncooked on the point of being raw,and the wine waiter went missing after we ordered the wine,so at one stage we had to ask the waitress to pour the wine. This is unacceptable in a restaurant of this standing. The starters were excellent and very filling. Disappointed that no roof fans ...so exceedingly warm A very lovely evening more due to the surroundings and friends

The entire setting is very pe... read more Went here for dinner on my wife’s birthday. The restaurant was not crowded, just our foursome at the start. We ate on the terrace. The entire setting is very peaceful and romantic. The restaurant is a covered terrace on the side of a beautiful old mansion. The food was good, a bit on the gourmet side. Traditional Spanish fare is upscaled (if I can use that word). The result is very nice. However, if searching for traditional local cuisine the result could disappoint. Prices are a bit higher than other prices we have been to. But this is, after all “fine dining”. Service is spectacular. For a special evening, especially if looking for a romantic evening, I highly recommend Son Julia.

We were quite disappointed as it was quite windy at the back where the tables were set up and we could not see the sun go down. As we were staying at the Marriott Hotel complex we were given a 'Welcome glass ' of Cava, which was a nice touch. The dim sum and búfala salad were... read more The restaurant is in the Hotel Son Julia, itself a stunning building. We had dinner with my mum and every dish was realy good! The dim sum and búfala salad were delicious, then we had the beef tenderloin and pannacotta and chocolate coulant. There was a music night that evening which made a great atmosphere. All in all a really nice night out. We will be back!
