Capitan Cook - Llucmajor

Great little place about 10 mins walk from the hotel. We had been for a walk and decided to stop for cold drinks. Service was great and the man serving us was friendly and polite.

Food took over an hour to come, other people who had ordered after us had their food first. We were asked if we wanted bread which never came, even after reminding staff. Had to keep flagging down staff for more drinks. Kids mickeymouse burger was dry. Everything else was OK. Had to flag down staff for condiments. The main waiter large man was rude.

We ventured out on our second to last night for tapas, but unfortunately found the local restaurant to be empty so opted for capitan cook instead. We had a mixture of starters, Camembert, chicken wings, prawns, and all were very good! The staff were great, all really friendly. The only negative thing I can say is the drinks took a little while to come out. The main courses were equally as good, we had a mixture of pasta, steak, chicken cordon bleu, snitzel and homemade burgers which all went down a treat! The mojitos were great as well and it was a really nice touch having a watermelon vodka shot complimentary at the end! I wouldn’t hesitate to return and would recommend as well. They are also very child friendly providing a high chair and amusement for a young child.

Buen ambiente, buena comida, buena cerveza y precios razonables. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Además abierto todo el año. Uno de mis sitios preferidos desde hace 20 años.
