We visited this restaurant on our first night in Póo and sadly this was our only visit. The location is lovely but the food wasn't that great, the paella was down right dull and uninspiring. The waitresses were great but the waiter was very rude, dismissive and unfortunately by the end of the evening he seemed to be the only one left. We asked for a coffee and he said, no, not yet, excuse me, I think you will find that we are the customers??! Such a shame as I'm sure we would have been back many times had we had a better experience. However on a much more positive note there is a big tented area in the car park behind that we did frequent on many occasions. Soooo chilled out, fantastic gins, lovely friendly staff, would definitely recommend a few tipples there!

We stayed two nights in the hotel and had breakfast and dinner there. The location is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable and the owner/manager Eva is very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and there is a great atmosphere on the terrace.

Wonderful views, with terrace to the sea, sand walking. very quiet beach, like a swimming pool. the hotel restaurant, very homemade, are charming people. I have been coming for 15 years and I don't get tired.

We called in for a late lunch while enjoying the excellent beach. Book ahead it’s a popular place. Nice food, inevitably slightly more expensive given its location but excellent views across the bay. Recommended.

We were staying in Llanes but decided to walk the coastal path to Playa de Poo.a few kilometres to the west. Hotels were marked on the map, but would they be open? We arrived at Playa de Poo about 12:30 on a lovely warm day coastal scenes were really good and yes, the terrace restaurant at the Hotel Rocamar overlooking the creek was open, so we ordered a few drinks. Really the setting is exceptional. After a drink we decided we would have lunch there. We hastily reserved a table and were led to a table in the shade of trees but still retaining the fantastic view. We ordered more drinks and one of the special seafood pasta. Within half an hour we were presented with a large paella pan with our order, pasta cooked in fish stock, with five different types of sea food in it. We were not sure if we could eat it all, but we simply had too, it was so delicious. This restaurant is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful, and so friendly and helpful. I do hope that I will return there one day. I know I would not be disappointed.
