Always good traditional asturian food. Great atmosphere and staff. A place you should go to when in nueva de Llañes Asturias

We had a few meals here over a couple of weeks, they were all excellent. I used to go to the restaurant regularly when I lived in the area, the food was always so good. The menu has changed a little, definitely a wide choice with fish featuring as well as the wonderful meat. We had the scallops on each visit, always delicious.

Everything closed, if you find something and you have a dog, you can’t go. But we were hungry and tried at every restaurant. The waiter (I think the owner), first said no, asked if the dog is small. I said no. Big dog. So sorry, not possible. When I just wanted to jump in the car, he asked again and when I said, the dog is just under the table he said okay, come in. Really nice place!!! And the guy was amazingly friendly. Good advice for wine and food, also for the digestive. And also for the dog there was found a big bone in the kitchen! Really nice and familiar place. This evening we were the only guests but we felt very warm welcome and also „not alone“. We had some local fish after a really tasty salad. Fish tastes amazing, with the fish there were some vegetables and a very good sauce. If we come around here again, we will come back for dinner for sure.

Have passed this restaurant a few times before deciding to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was fabulous, the monkfish, recommended by the waiter was superb. The staff were helpful and attentive, food excellent as was the wine. Visited twice in one week and would highly recommend a visit.

Close to the beaches and motorway, this is a fabulous stop. Their specialty is +30 days matured meat, which is delicious and well served. We started sharing a lovely Berengenas rellenas with a bottle of the local cider and had the most wonderful traditionally prepared ox tail with massed potatoes with fennel and mint, accompanied with a good red Duero. For dessert their home made fresh cheese cake is a must. All together we paid €75 and it's a steal. Don't miss it!
