The food in El Arco is consistently VERY delicious. The service is outstanding, the portions generous and the atmosphere is cozy, warm and inviting. Our family vacations in Celorio every summer and meals at El Arco are trip highlights every year.
When in Llanes this little town is about 10 minutes drive and has a fantastic restaurant that makes it more than worthwhile. We had the menu for 22 euros each: fables beans with sausages. Fresh Hake and potatoes baked in the oven and a large fresh garden salad from the local market. Great wine Albariñio Wine from Galicia. The desert was home made and it looked like everybody made the same selection. More food than two people can eat and so very, very good! Highly recommend over others we tried on this visit!!
When we arrived, the things we would have ordered were gone. We ordered a cachopo de lomo and took a chance on “fritos”. Apparently they ran out of cachopo de lomo and brought a cachopo of old veal. It was not edible. The Fritos were fried leftovers. However, the tomato and blue cheese salad was excellent. My wife said to the waitress that it would be better to tell us if the lomo was gone rather than bringing something else. She just said that what they do in the kitchen isn’t her fault.
Do not hesitate, quality food, quantity to go hungry, a super nice terrace and a good price, a mandatory stop
