Stradey Arms

Stradey Arms SUPERB! First class service from staff. We originally made a booking for 2 adults, then amended to 5 adults and 2 children and ended up with other family members joining us 9 adults and 6 children in total! This would normally be a nightmare scenario for some establishments but not the Stradey Arms. The staff rearranged tables and chairs and we were fully accommodated as a family. We had a delicious Sunday lunch with very ample portions the beef was to die for! Niamh was a little sweetheart and nothing was too much trouble for her. We retired to the garden enjoying after dinner drinks in the sunshine. Such a lovely relaxing environment and we all said we would be visiting again soon on our next visit home from Bournemouth. The atmosphere at the restaurant was warm and friendly. The Baby Shower Buffet was delightful with a good variety of food and accommodations for special diets. I have frequented the Stradey Arms many times and have always enjoyed delicious meals that are worth the price.

Overall great atmosphere, bar staff where very polite and friendly, made me feel like I was a regular and welcomed. Food was great the onion ring's were easily the best I've ever had, crispy and sweet. Enjoyed a couple of drink out in the beer garden area great vibe, relaxing and definitely will be visiting again soon.

Very long wait for starters and main course on a Saturday evening. Starters were lovely i had the prawn cocktail my husband had the scotch egg however my main was really disappointing chicken curry, had no flavour and the chicken wasn't a good texture (frozen i think and heated) my husband had the burger which was nice doubt we would ever return. Looks a lovely pub for drinks mind.
