Lakeside Cafe And Catering

I have been a regular at this restaurant for almost two years now. While I appreciate that it is open seven days a week, has reasonable prices, good coffee, and above-average cake choices, I am disappointed that they do not allow dogs inside. Despite the restaurant often being half empty, my dogs and I are forced to sit outdoors on the balcony in freezing temperatures, as we can't leave them at home. To make matters worse, there is limited covered seating, which is sometimes used by the staff and littered with cigarette butts that we have to clean up ourselves. It would be great if the restaurant could reconsider their policy on allowing dogs inside and also improve the cleanliness of their outdoor seating area. Customers should come first, not the comfort of their smoking staff.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. The service is great. We dined in for lunch and the price per person ranges from £10 to £20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Sausage Egg Bacon Chips, Panini, and English Breakfast. There is plenty of parking available, with options for both a free parking lot and free street parking.

The restaurant has lovely staff and beautiful views. We dined in for brunch and the price per person was between £1-10. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a top rating of 5. We highly recommend trying the English Breakfast when visiting this place.
