Ffowntan Cafe - Llanberis

Beautiful and warmer place, especially when they come back from the summit. delicious glowing wine and cake, beautiful dog and small sheep. very nice owner, welcomes them with open hands. definitiw will be back!

Great place. great friendly local service and a lot of choice even when busy. is on the main Llanberis path below, so remember it might be busy. classified as teehouse, so remember it is hot and cold drinks and snacks cake etc not full meal times. would definitely recommend and will go again perhaps under colder conditions for a warm drink perhaps even a seat near the fire.

Honestly. this is the most friendly, clean and efficient caffe in the entire national park. Honored with a smile and friendly talk after running snowdon in the rain, we were met by the owner who had made snowdon ale available to us and the cleanest loos I have ever seen! we felt like guests in his house. and we were not one, all were treated as well! other caffes in the opposite must visit to learn how to care for their customers and create a proper customer experience. even if they don't go too foot on snowdon, just for a coffee, they won't be disappointed. the best caffe in north wales by far thank you!

This place is outstanding! I highly recommend visiting—especially the owner, Stephan (I’m not sure about the spelling). He was fantastic. After we completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. He treated us to some delicious Welsh cakes and tea, and to top it all off, he even provided us with a foot bath. It was an amazing experience!

We took a wrong turn and found ourselves at the wrong spot after hiking up the ranger path. A gentleman at the location kindly guided us on how to get back to where we needed to be and suggested that a taxi would be the easiest option. He ordered one for us, and we truly appreciated his friendliness and genuine kindness. My partner and I can't thank him enough for helping two exhausted travelers. Thank you so much!
