Pop's Place Pizza - Ljubljana

They have one very simple vegan pizza, the marinara. But it was no problem getting a pizza without cheese or sausage. Unfortunately they don’t add extras, however you can choose a pizza and order it without the feature. They have great cocktails as well

First I was afraid there was only one vegan option on the menu and I‘m not able to add ingredients. I was satisfied when I was told, I‘m able to order anything on the menu without cheese or meat. I chose the „ammore mi“ without cheese and was extremely happy with the dough and thickness throughout the pizza. The crust was perfectly soft and the topping area thin. Eggplant and artichoke were nice, the tomato sauce could have been more, but it was fine. My improvements would be: enable more flexible toppings, clearly label what the vegan options are and obviously add more of them.

Initially, I was worried that there was only a vegan option available on the menu and that I wouldn't be able to customize my order. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could request any item on the menu without cheese or meat. I decided on the "ammore mi" pizza without cheese and was very pleased with the dough and thinness of the entire pizza. The crust was wonderfully soft and the toppings were just right. The eggplants and artichokes were delicious, though I wish there was more tomato sauce. In the future, I recommend offering more customizable toppings, clearly indicating the vegan options on the menu, and expanding the vegan options available.

We did not receive any acknowledgment for a few minutes, even though we walked in and waited. We visited on a Friday night, but the staff seemed to ignore new guests. When we finally asked for a table, they simply said "it will be awhile" and walked away without offering any further assistance. No guidance or direction was provided by the staff during our visit.
