I found a fantastic restaurant for a satisfying dinner in Ljubljana. The portions were generous and the homemade potato goulash with sausage, as well as the chicken and plant soup, were both delicious. The service was friendly and the beer was also good. What Tadija Vucelić doesn't like about Cafe Antico:
DO NOT EAT HERE. The waiter was rude and the food is some of the worst we have ever had in Slovenia, which otherwise has wonderful people and cuisine. They also do not accept card. There really are better options in Ljubljana. Avoid. View all feedback.
Quaint cafe and bar with typical outdoor seating. Both English and Slovenian menus on the outside. The bartender spoke English and was friendly and patient during our order. Overall a nice place to have cold beer, sample Slovenian cheese and sausage, and take in the afternoon.
Wouldn't recommend. Food tasted ok but wasn't reheated all the way through. This was worrying as it was goulash with sausage in... Also, it was very overpriced for what it was, at 11 euros. Left feeling ripped off.

Great beer and delicious food. Food is worthwhile here
Not a great experience here last year. The waitress was smoking a lot outside so was hard to get hold of. We were charged for free bread and also for three beers when we only had one. When I went to highlight the mistake she went outside to smoke.
