What more can I say? All the food was great. They made our fries extra-done we asked for extra crispy and they were! Hot do and burger were the best. Get the #3 combo on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and they will charge you for a #2. My wife got the mini-meg her way and they did it as ordered. I got one of each atw, drink, and my gradson got the Kiddy Meal with a hamburger, fries and drink $3.99). The whole bill was... View all feedback.

I have waited a long time to have a Nu-Way hotdog. While it was good, I have had better. To add to the disappointment...service was slow and counter personnel were borderline rude. There was no eye contact. There definitely were no smiles. There were no thank you’s. Everyone was very stoic. I live many miles away and more than likely I will never be back. However, my children and grandchildren live close and based on... View all feedback.
Don't get excited about their Chocolate Malts...They don't have any in this location. But if you know Nu-Way food then you won't be disappointed here.
Homeless people. my family didn't feel safe. no toilet paper in either bathroom. wrong order. cold chili on hot dogs. over-priced. soggy fries. no condiments. dirty floors and tables. smallest hot dogs. no snap. All the hype. never again. why are they in business? Was in the bathroom many times shortly afterwards. i never write reviews but was misled by the ones in here. this is a warning to others about this place. maybe you will have a different experience than us and the other people in there.
Let me start by saying that I am a long time fan of Nu-Way. I first saw a special on hot dogs on Public Broadcasting and they mentioned Nu-Way. I found myself in Macon and sought this place out (though it was not at this particular location) and the rest as they say, is history. I am also a huge fan of hot dogs and the bright red hot dogs at Nu-Way are always an amazing product. Their burgers are pretty impressive, too, and I usually get at least one of their burgers to go with the multiple hot dogs that I get and an order of french fries. There is absolutely nothing fancy about Nu-Way and there should be nothing fancy about this place. Hot dogs, burgers and fries are meant to be eaten casually, they should be a bit messy and there is a good chance that you will get something on your shirt. No big deal, the food is just marking its territory and labeling you as a devotee to their fantastic hot dogs, burgers and french froes. My recommendation is to grab a hot dog (or three) and a burger. Try both with the chili (you can thank me later). This humble chain centered around the Macon, Georgia area has been around about a hundred years and once you try it, you will understand why they have been in business about a hundred years. For a business to be hitting a century mark, they obviously are doing something right. Give them a shot, you will be a devotee, as well.
I enjoy grabbing Nu-way when I'm in town because it is a nostalgic food for me. It was a treat in my childhood as I spent summers visiting family. The food remains the same, greasy and cheap. Yet, it's a Macon staple every visitor should try. This location is clean and they only allow one customer at a time to enter for proper social distancing. Be prepared to tell your order across the restaurant through your mask. It's 3 stars because customer service is not good here. I'm not offended when employees skip the pleasantries part. However, if customers are required to yell across the room to order, maybe acknowledge that they can start and pause your personal conversations to let them do so.
Our family met up for our daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, we chose this place to get lunch. It was absolutely disgusting. The meat on the chili cheese fries didn't taste like meat or chili. The burgers were undercooked. I'm surprised this place is open, serving food the way they do.
