Visited during summer on my long trip to Livorno. Despite my dad telling me it was excellent he grew up in Livorno), I did not see it. The only thing on the menu I wanted was baccala, but they had none : Maybe it was me? Maybe it was the company I had? But it just did not stand out to me. Mi dispiace! Possibliamente un' altra volta! Was stopping in Miramare and needed somewhere to eat as we arrived tired! Walked in and wasn't hopeful as it was empty bar one couple but it seemed to be the only place open so decided to chance it. So glad we did. Within 10 minutes the place was packed all with locals. Had anchovy and red onion starter and antipasto selection. Both very very good. Pizzas for main, again super. Fresh and tasty. Good value wine and the puddings are just great. So great I had two! The pannacotta is the best I have ever eaten. Great place and glad we went.
The first course was heated in the microwave and tasted horrible. Even if it wouldn‘t have been heated in the microwave, it wouldn‘t have tasted good. For the main course we had pizza, which was recommended to us. But it didn‘t taste good as well. During out visit the „restaurant“ was very crowded. We totally don‘t get why so many locals were eating here.
This is not the place for a gastronomic dinner. But what you get is good and not expensive! Looking for a good and cheap bite then this is the place!
