the food was good and that was not too long. the back terrace was a beautiful place to sit. the personal was attentive. no reservation was required, but also went on the afternoon on a weekday. they are able to pay forward when done, so they do not have to wait in the table. fillet was 21€ for roasted potato. I came back after several years and I left with the same overall judgment just enough. Menu not extended both to proposals of first and meat cuts without any indication of the breed and origin of livestock. Medium-level meat and right cooking, even if you can't propose a special truffle menu (black) and then serve a truffle fillet at 28 euros without even a scaglia but only an imperceptible grater. Beautiful and warm atmosphere. We had a cozy table close to the fireplace, very nice corner with a old wooden rockin’ chair. They are known for their truffle: we had their tagliolini that were good. Main course: Fiorentina! So nice but it came ‘scomposta’ that is already cut in slices..not good. Also, our second wine, a Bolgheri, came uncorked..this was the second negative point. Service was kind but not one of the best. Finally we had a little but appreciated discount on the bill.
Nice and warm place with a cozy garden. We had dinner in the garden and everything was super tasty! Excellent truffle and fabulous meat! Abundant dishes and wide choice, I’ll come back for sure next time in Livorno
We dined May 3 during our vacation in Italy. The owner of our condo recommended we try this restaurant, especially the steak a la toscane . We were ready to try this but could not find it on the menu. After discussions with our waiter (owner) he knew we wanted Fiorentina . This is a large steak (by the kg), cooked on a fire grill to perfection. Very yummy! Grazie
We decided to have lunch in this very nice and clean restaurant. Pay attention to the waiters. endless wine list with many beautiful proposals despite this we opted for a beer. as starters we took the two cutters one of the hunters and one with more traditional proposals but still of the territory. surprised us the quantity and quality of the dishes. above all very remarkable hunting. for the second three to tartare very good a pinch of yogurt sauce (which I do not particularly love) I would have liked to be side and not above. but he said the meat was fresh tanté that we felt beat by the room. the negative note but that does not make us change the judgement regarding the 5 stars was the stew that we found a little vivante, very good potatoes, very good goto in compromise is a good dish.
