Tropical Smoothie Cafe Livonia

I discovered this place. The staff was average and the drink was refreshing, but it definitely wasn't on par with Jamba Juice.

I ordered food online to pick up at 6:00 PM on 3/17. When I arrived, they informed me that they were out of the sweet potato bites I had ordered, which was disappointing but understandable. The food was tasty once I got home, but I was shocked to find a piece of paper in the middle of my sandwich. This was completely unacceptable, especially considering I had paid $9 for the sandwich. I will not be returning to this restaurant, as it seems to have multiple issues that need to be addressed. It has been 4 days since my bad experience, and despite the owner's generic response, they have not reached out to rectify the situation. I had to take matters into my own hands.

Yesterday, I had one of the worst service experiences at this restaurant. Out of the four employees, one was on break, another was playing on their phone in the back, leaving only two people to handle the customers. Most staff had headphones in, making customers wait to place or pick up orders. I had placed an online order to avoid waiting, but still ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. After complaining about the delay, my two shakes were only found in the back. When I finally tried the shake at home, it was the worst shake I've ever had - tasteless and watery. As a small business owner myself, I believe they need to improve their training and management. I will not be returning unless I see new management in place.

The place is under the personal, lack of proper communication from the employees who explain how to take orders. they should just turn off the place. it's ridiculous! don't waste your time! terrible experience!

So I have only been to a few TSC's in the area but this one is my personal favorite. Smoothies are always thick and cold like I llike it. I have been to a could other and they were loose and cool, which is okay if you like that. This location can get busy around lunch time so you may want to order ahead if you are in a hurry or don't like waiting.
