Speedway - Livonia

Cafe is always closed. No matter what day or time, there's always paper over the order screens. No hours are posted so never know if it ever opens. Just get rid of the cafe if it's never open.

For the most part this Speedway is the easiest stop for me so I do stop at least 4 times a week and on the way up north. This morning was the fist time in for a while and they had signs up for I guess 4th of July. I noticed right off that the United States Flags were put on a very large sign near the cafe area and back room. I did ask why were the United State Flags backwards right as I walked in. The attendant just shrugged. I am not sure if they are making a statement or it is a mistake but it should be fixed.

I enjoy Speedway, particularly their rewards program, but I've noticed a decline since 7-Eleven acquired them. They offer a range of gift cards, including options for cafe items, merchandise, fuel, and combos that include fuel. Unfortunately, I've seen frequent price increases since the acquisition. On a positive note, their locations do keep restrooms clean, which sets them apart from many competitors. One of the few improvements since the purchase is the upgraded lids for fountain drinks. I recommend joining the Speedy Rewards program for exclusive offers, free items after purchasing a certain quantity, and a points system that allows you to earn free items, discounts, and gift cards.

The staff is always welcoming and friendly, which is why we make it a point to stop here for gas. The store is clean and well-maintained. The only thing I would improve is having the grill open on weekends.

I live just two minutes away from this Speedway and find myself stopping by frequently. The place is fairly clean, and the prices are reasonable. However, my low rating is due to the fact that the receipt machines at the gas pumps rarely work. This has been a persistent issue for years.
