This cozy cafe offers delicious coffee. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese was not available when I visited, but there's always next time! The seating is limited, but I was told they plan to expand soon. Reviewed on January 30, 2022. View all feedback.
What Julie Johnson doesn't like about Castaway Coffee Co:
Ok. I have to admit I am an absolute rediculous coffee snob, I judge places probably too harshly on their coffee. And on arriving in Livingston I didn't expect to find anywhere vegan, let alone somewhere that had good coffee. And oh boy did this place not disappoint!!! I can't wait to visit Livingston again!
Visited based on HC listing. TINY space! Super strong coffee. Friendly staff and super cute and cozy dog under her blankets. M&C really the only thing available.
Coffee was ok. But cakes were excellent. Unfortunately there was no hot food left but there was a pop up in the garden. Hope they manage to expand and offer more
It’s a small little place, easily overlooked. I went to get take-out bakery snacks last time which were alright. I plan on going again and hope I’ll be able to buy some cake next time Updated from previous review on 2021-11-08
It's such a quant little spot, with the best coffee I've had in a long time! The homemade cakes are to die for! And the soup is top notch. The staff are lovely, and the surrounding area is so nice, it's set in a little village, that feels so peaceful and lovely. They do vegan food pop ups fairly regularly, from @antojitostruck to @the_falafel_stop among many more On occasion the owner also brings his dog in who sits so patiently in the corner and is an absolute gem, my kids loved playing with her!
