Many patrons appreciate the casual vibe and reasonable prices, finding the pizza and cocktails particularly enjoyable. However, others lament the dated atmosphere and inconsistent service, with some describing the setting as reminiscent of an old fast food joint. While certain dishes, like the clams and linguini, receive praise for freshness, others fall flat. Overall, the restaurant serves as an informal dining option, suitable for a quick meal, but it may not meet expectations for a memorable culinary night out.
One of the two happy hours in the dry and boring town of Livingston has been around for decades. You have to come see Chris, the iconic and chatty bartender who is like a therapist. The staff, including Lori, are attentive and knowledgeable.
The pizza at this restaurant is delicious, with a flavorful sauce. The atmosphere is not too crowded, and there is outdoor seating available. Each slice of pizza costs $3.50, which is equivalent to a quarter of a small pie.
Surprisingly good food!!! Went for a last minute birthday dinner and was superb. Great wings, great white pizza, and paninis. All were very satisfied with...
Great casual eaterie- fresh salads- great paninis and good, attentive servers
I am on a business trip in NJ and as with most trips to NJ, going to an Italian restaurant is usually on the menu and a safe bet. I should have known better when we walked in on the dirty industrial floor runner. The table tops are granite with chips off the edges, the service is okay, and the food is average at best. I had their version of Past Fagioli, which was a watered down tomato broth, ditalini, and beans. I had to ask for cheese as it was not offered or on the table. I ordered the clams and linguini, which was reasonably fresh and with a mound of pasta The surrounding are minimal and basic era. Frankly, the place looks like an old fast food joint that is trying to be a restaurant and not a pleasurable place to be for the evening.
