However, I rated this place with three stars because the food was just okay. I prefer my food to be served really hot, and unfortunately, it wasn't. On the bright side, the catfish was excellent; it was cooked just right, with a crispy cornmeal coating that was simply perfect. There aren’t many places or people who can cook it that well. After receiving a few recommendations, we decided to give this restaurant a try. The portions were generous, and overall, the food was good. My husband ordered the Saturday special, "Burnt Ends," which turned out to be tender and well-prepared. I opted for the BBQ Beef Sandwich with crispy fries.
