The Star Inn - Liverton

Very good food.....had to wait slightly longer than usual due to a car club meeting and Morris Dancers. So very lively. But most enjoyable.

First time calling into The Star can't fault anything about the staff, food or the atmosphere all very pleasant. The staff I must say we're so nice. Won't be long before we are calling in again.

4 stars as there was a bit of an issue with a salad, however the landlord came to apologise, and took the salad off the bill (also offered a complimentary pudding) everything else 5 stars, friendly staff, nice surroundings, good food, good value. Especially helpful were the games and colouring as we had children in our group. We will return. Thank you

Popped in on the way back from picking up the grandkids to check out the lunch menu for tomorrow and had a drink in the garden lovely garden) and the children had a bit of a play, menu was not very exciting but adequate so we will be back as it is near and easy to get to. Update on yesterday's review, We went back for lunch with the grandkids only to find the kitchen was closed , 2 disappointed girls so had to find another place to eat. Yesterday I gave 4* today I'm amending that to 2* sorry.

Loved it. Great service and amazing food. Lovely atmosphere. Only down side was that we were rushed to finish our food as the main had been cooked before we even had gotten half way through our starter. It wasn't even busy. As a prior waitress and kitchen staff it was clearly as case of the kitchen wanting to close ASAP.
