Only slight complaints were in the front row, so my feet were on stage, so my knees were around my ears. However great night of comedy and would highly recommend View all feedback.
Called on recommendation last night and we were not disappointed. Good singer on Saturday night had every entertaining, polite bar staff. So decided to go back to lunch after the day, where we saw a sign, all Homecooked food. Eating as 4 people we ordered 2 complete English breakfast, 1 Cheeseburger 1 homemade steak pipe. We waited 20 minutes or so for food, but I first decided to order Sunday dinner at 12 o'clock only to say that Sunday meals were not served until 12.30 o'clock (I think the cook forget to cook meat) the food came all very hot and well sorted portions. The steak pee was beautiful and tender together with the skin on the frits. The remaining food was very well told. Would definitely recommend this pub, very cheap. Try it.
Great pub, food is brilliant. Staff are all helpful and polite. Nighttime is awesome, music and dancing. The prices are probably the best in town and the Guinness is to die for. Highly recommend.
Great breakfast..Great beer...staff really friendly and can't do enough for you.group of us were in there last weekend for a stag doo and they couldn't be more welcoming .Thank you.
Walked past on fathers day, heard the Irish music, went in side . Place was packed great 3 piece band on , think the singer was Alan Connel , 1 lady on the fiddle another on bass. Brilliant music, mix of Irish, bluegrass, country and everything in between even George Formby. Place was bouncing , 2 and half hours of nonstop excellent music , would have stayed for the next act but had to get the train, beer was good too, very friendly atmosphere, will definitely be back.
Nice pub for a little drink then down stairs for the best comedy night in town.
