Rubens Coffee Shop - Liverpool

We dropped in mid afternoon for a rest and a cuppa. The tea and coffee were great as was the cake and the bagel we ate. Prices were reasonable and staff helpful and efficient.

Sadly not the best experience, although the food was tasty. When ordering our food we were informed that it would be around 30 minutes wait for the food. This was OK as we had time before having to be somewhere else. Sadly after 40 minutes we had to ask if the food was coming. We were informed it would possibly be another 10 minutes. It arrived nearly an hour after ordering. The service was not the best and I think some training would be beneficial to the young staff team, especially after seeing one of the waiting staff brushing her hair behind the counter.

Been here each day for breakfast, lovely food and very friendly staff. Very clean and spacious so social distancing is easy. Highly recommend

Had pancakes but unfortunately they tasted, watery? When cutting into them there was lots of juice. It's nice in side the cafe and staff are friendly. I'm sure on another occasion the pancakes would be nice.

This is the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. There are plenty of options to choose from, whether you prefer savory or sweet. The staff is excellent and the location is perfect.
