Neighbourhood Cafe - Liverpool

We had another wonderful 5-star dining experience at this restaurant. I took my Mum for our annual Mother's Day outing for the second year in a row. We both enjoyed the special Crunchie pancakes and the amazing smoked salmon dish. The smoked salmon was especially outstanding, with the tomato Balsamic pearls adding a fun touch.

The breakfast at this restaurant was lacking, unless you added extras like beans, mushrooms, and black pudding for an additional £1 each. My main complaint is the £2.99 service charge added to the bill. I was with friends so I didn't object, but I won't be returning. Our bill was well under £30, so they are making extra money there. The waitress seemed embarrassed when she told us about the service charge, but it still felt like a money-making scheme. If you are confident in the quality of your food, you shouldn't need to mandate a tip. The parking situation is also terrible, though not the restaurant's fault, making it a hassle to visit. I would not recommend this place, mainly because of all the added costs.

I enjoyed the scouse dish at this restaurant, it was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, relaxing, and nice.

We had a wonderful Breakfast here as a family, beautiful pancakes, eggs, coffee etc, staff so pleasant and friendly...would highly recommend. A fabulous find while on holiday from Ireland.

Took my son for pancakes and he loved them. I was lucky enough to try the salmon Easter special breakfast and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had
