We didn’t get a great table even though it wasn’t busy (we were round the corner by the serving station) but I have been before and sat in the main bit by the windows, which has a great atmosphere. The food was very good especially an amazing trifle for dessert. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about London Carriage Works:
Service was rather slow with long waits between courses. Food was generally good but there was too much vinegar in the soup for my taste. It would have been better if oil and vinegar were supplied separately so one could add them as required. View all feedback.
We booked for dinner during a family trip to Liverpool. We started with pre-dinner cocktails which were excellent and nicely presented. We had a three course dinner of fantastic, tasty and well pressed food, with excellent, friendly and attentive, but not invasive service. We throughly enjoyed the email and will be back, would highflying recommend to anyone. A very happy new year to all at Hope Street Hotel and the London Carriage works.
Beautiful restaurant, staff are amazing, very attentive nothing is too much trouble for them. We had the afternoon tea which was scummy. My friend had the alcohol free fizz which was also delightful. We finished the afternoon off in the hotels Spa which is a must do. Will definitely be going back-Thank you TLCW x
A truly exceptional Christmas Day lunch. 7 courses, beautiful quality food, thoughtfully presented, small little gestures that showed real care, the restaurant was so christmassy, excellent service from our lovely waitress and the team. We loved it!! Thank you
Had a lovely Christmas eve meal with family, Staff are fantastic. Prices were great and the food is just delicious Thank you. Would certainly recommend.
We had a lovely Afternoon Tea, good assortment of sandwiches, warm scones with jam and clotted cream and 4 delicious cakes. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was relaxed. We might make it an annual pre Christmas ritual!
