Special mentions go to staff members like Roxy and Imogen for going above and beyond to enhance customers' experiences. Overall, the Hope and Anchor appears to be worth a visit for those seeking a cozy pub environment with a variety of drinks and a fun atmosphere.
I usually pop in among meet ups of other friends, and it’s always a great environment and place. Welcoming staff premesis, good drink and good food. Only one time have I ever been disappointed with food nothing else in the establishment and everything was cleared up. Bathrooms upstairs, so could be considered a difficulty to access, but amazing venue and recommended to anyone after a few pints and a chill
Drinks menu is good. Plenty of choice and some good draught beers. Food was a bit underwhelming. Partner's Peri Chicken wasn't brilliant. Chicken was obviously frozen. My Pizza was good though. We were able to watch the game we wanted which was why we chose the pub in the first place
Had a great time in the hope and anchor, everyone was friendly and staff were very helpful and the food was delicious and it was a great atmosphere on the champions league final and even better when Real Madrid won haha but I would definitely visit the hope and anchor again
