Greggs - Liverpool

I work in the university and it’s a joke around the campus that’s there is never anything in there. No cakes, pizza, sausage rolls even around peak times, shelf’s always empty. I appreciate there is not many student’s at this time but we have over 1000 workmen/ women doing maintenance work.

Passing by felt pecky so stopped here and bought some sausage rolls to take home. Had them with some chips later, delish.

This is a brilliant Greggs! As always, the food is excellent value of money and very tasty. This place always seems to have a decent selection, rarely running out of food. As this place is located next to a University, it is liable to getting busy, with the queue coming out the door sometimes. However, the staff are usually quick and efficient when serving and don't keep customers waiting an unreasonable length of time at all. This place is also clean and tidy in my experience. One thing I would say is the staff go above and beyond to provide excellent service they offer students a free biscuit or cake with their sandwich and drink, which I think is brilliant. On one occasion, I didn't want a cake, so the lady decided to give me a larger tea, which was really good customer service! Overall, if you're looking for a place to get some good food on a budget, I would recommend for you to take your custom here!

Staff always rude. Staff always screaming “who’s next” but in such an angry tone. Unnecessary. Usually I put up with it but today I was told to “hurry up” when at the till. I work in hospitality myself and I can understand it is frustrating when you have a queue that you want to get through quickly, but I don’t believe it is okay to say this to customers. I wasn’t taking ages whatsoever ever either. And I am sure that they would not like if they were told to “hurry up” by customers. I honestly was taken back by the comment. Customers have patiently waited in the queue themselves they haven’t rushed the staff. I just think it’s unprofessional behaviour and generally rude.
