Golden Empire - Liverpool

We had a wonderful time with our family at this restaurant. The food was delicious with a great variety, and even the picky eaters were happy with their chicken nuggets. The restaurant had a charming traditional Chinese decor and the staff were extremely welcoming.

I don't even know where to start with this review. The food was fantastic, but the hospitality was terrible. Everything from the drinks to the starters to the main courses was a mess. I had to go to the bathroom to calm down. The manager didn't seem to care and accused me of being drunk, even though we waited 70 minutes just for soup. As soon as I took my first bite, they shoved a card reader in my face to pay upfront. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The food is consistently fabulous at this restaurant. It's always our family's go-to choice for special occasions. The service is excellent, the food is amazing, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond.
