It was a Friday evening, around 5.00p... read more My daughter and I were in Liverpool for the evening. We love Chinese and we are spoilled in Manchester, where we are from. It was a Friday evening, around 5.00pm. The waitress said that she would try to fit us in. Obviously this is a place for after work on a Friday. We had hot and sour soup and then a plate of kin do spare ribs to share. Both were really good. Service was extremely fast and friendly. We then had the 'three types of prawn meat ' with aubergines etc. We also ordered the steak in Cantonese sauce but, to be honest, we had over faced ourselves. I can 't compare this to another Chinese in Liverpool as it 's my first time. However, it was really lovely and gave our Manchester Chinatown a run for it 's money. Verdict: Excellent Try not to over order.

Nicely decorated and service was ok at best but i would return another day after this experience. The one thing that stops me is the Management and some staff who for some reason dont appear ever to be happy and to work in harmony together. Seeing and hearing beligerent staff arguing and unhappy can only spoil the customer experience and make the possibility of a return visit more unlikely.. It costs nothing to wear a smile, so such a shame here..
