Sweet hong kong art caffe. had lunch yesterday. had a beautiful watermelon bubble tea. it comes with tapioca and I additionally lychee balls. lush it has an eclectic menu of hong kong classified like spaghetti bolognese, Chinese standards, and then a Szechuan menu that they have to ask and out that I had gargantuan teller on six pfu a pop of dry roasted green beans with pork, and hot and kernel fish. both beautiful.
I will not go back soon, but some people really like it. it did good lunchtime trading and other reviews were more positive. I am not convinced, however.
Cafe de pearl reminds me a bit of ryanair, ie many hidden costs. Although it is advertising itself as a caffe, it sees itself as a restaurant, the personal pushes eat menus in their face and asks about 3 times if they want to eat any. and I think it's just a caffe. To be fair, eating looked nice, but don't apply as cafe de pearl if they don't want people to come for a drink only.
I certainly won’t be heading back any time soon, but some people might really like it. It was doing good lunch time trade and other reviews have been more positive. However, I remain unconvinced.
