Booked a table about an hour before and were made to feel very welcome by Josh and his colleague, a young lady with black hair. Josh seems to be very well regarded by customers and in these reviews. Our food was lovely, only criticisms would be it would be nice to have a choice of bread, as there was no wholemeal or granary option with the soup. Having only white bread isn't very healthy. I am so disappointed to leave this review. I have been a customer of the Bear Staff for many many years and I'm sad to say neither me nor my family will be in the future. The only thing good about the place is the bar staff. Since it has had a change of management im afraid to say it has changed for the worse. First visit at Bear and Staff and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was good and Britt and Chris were both lovely and friendly. Will visit again :
Had a lovely meal here on Sunday. My parents in law, love coming here and rate the food highly. Service is great in the restaurant, special mention to josh who looked after us and is attentive and friendly. Thanks from the Maguire's.
Excellent customer service Carl Josh and the team always very professional and helpful always the warmest of welcome excellent new menu’s will always check any allergy with the chef can recommend Sunday roast and fish and chips excellent and sticky toffee pudding cheesecake
