When I first set foot into this restaurant in 2004, I never really thought much of it, just a typical restaurant that I visited with my family. My friends and I have used this place many times over the last decade. It is what it is - uncomplicated and unpretentious. Whilst the service is cheerful and friendly, the wait for the meal is often in direct proportion to the number of customers present. The food is good, using some regional specialities, and is all cooked by one person as far as I can make out. Many local people use the place and we will certainly... View all feedback.
Food was average with not much thought given to preparation! A plain bland rice served with a very strong fish and my wife had chicken with very bland noodles! The dessert was a tasty apple tarte!
Great little local place. The pizzas were delicious and good choice of drinks. The person serving was outstanding it got super busy but she was always attentive and really pleasant. Great find
We called in 7pm on an evening after trying to do lunch there earlier in the day when it was rammed out and buzzing. The evening session was the opposite. I ordered veal a la Milanaise. It came with pasta ribbons which were cold, probably from the lunch service. The escalope de veal was microwaved to the point of death. I needed a chainsaw to cut into it. The lady on duty seemed to front of house, chef and Paystation all at the same time. As I said, it may just have been a bad night and I have to say the pizzas smelt delicious. I won't be risking it again myself, but if you do fancy it, go at lunchtime and have the pizza option.

The first is obviously the food, despite I never used to be a fan of pizzas, I had my first pizza here this year and it was marvellous, the ice cream dessert was also commendable. The second reason is the atmosphere, the service there is incredible and every time we attend, I feel more welcome each year. I definitely recommend if you ever are in the area, to take out a period of your time and enjoy a fine meal there.
We had a lovely lunch here while waiting for the fromager to reopen. I was just expecting pizza but they have lots of options. The terrine was excellent and I really enjoyed my small campagnarde salad. My mom had the gizzards which were a little greasy but good. We shared the terrine and each had a small salad and it was plenty of food and reasonably priced.
