We had a wonderful afternoon at the Red Lion yesterday celebrating Harry's birthday. It's a spacious pub that is very dog-friendly, and Glory loved it! The atmosphere was perfect before the heart and the beer were in top form. We visited in the afternoon, and although the kitchen was unexpectedly closed, Jeanne kindly made us sandwiches and chips so we wouldn't go hungry. Thank you for that! View all feedback.
First visit and definitiw not the last. the greeting was warm and friendly dog friendly). the place is beautiful and many people make the biggest sunshine outside on the front rasen eating and drinking. we were a party of four two dogs and we were all more than satisfied with eating. I had the special, that was definitiw. sea bass with comminuted new dug and cook special tomato sauce that was devine best recommend.
Great food and service. Fabulous sandwich menu. Very dog friendly too. Highly recommended.
Best pub in the Peak District. Great food, excellent beer and a warm welcome. Who could ask for more. Food is very high standard.
