The Rusty Tapp is amazing! You have our wedding and all LOVED the food! Rusty and his team were very helpful in compiling the invoice and order. And they went beyond and beyond and served us! Very affordable! We always get our BBQ from here!

This evaluation is long overdue. Every time I eat in Rusty Tapp, the food and service is excellent!! I have recently told the owner that the one thing that I am MOST IMPRESSED at The Rusty Tapp is the fact that he wins the award for serving the hottest temperature eating every restaurant in existence. Every dish we've ever ordered is hot and we never have cold food here. The turkey and chicken wings are my favorite. None of us can live KC bbq here in Denver, but this restaurant will not disappoint you. Give them an attempt, because not only will you not regret it, but you will get a wonderful meal that you will not forget. If you are like our family, you will tell yourself that you have just found a wonderful restaurant that you will often visit. To the property and employees in Rusty Tapp, I welcome you to a job well done. You have earned our family business and references for a very long time. Keep the great work we love you WAREN and STAFF!!

Always excellent food and service. When me and my lady friends get together, this is our place to meet. We love the bartenders and the excellent cocktails. Each of us get what we want, whether its wine, whiskey, beer or a cocktail. We love Rusty too!

This is easily the best barbecue in south Denver, and definitely rivals anywhere in the state. The burnt ends are tender and terrific every time. The sausage links are better than anywhere else. Service is always great and friendly. Love this place.

Food smelled great, but we went late and food tasted a little old and dry. I?ll probably go back at an earlier hour and I?m sure it?ll be an easy 4 stars, at least. Very similar to Rolling Smoke. Update on 7.26.21 I went back around 4:30 in the afternoon to give it another shake, which is what the picture is from, and I'd give it 3.5/5 stars if I could. It was a little better than last time, but still just not great. Flavors didn't pop, and it just doesn't taste that fresh to me. The hot link, home made sauces, texas toast, and mac n cheese were all very tasty- but you've got to bring home the big meats at a BBQ joint. I'll rate each individual item: Pulled Pork: 3/5 Burnt Ends: 2/5 Hot Link: 4/5 Mac N Cheese: 4/5 Texas Toast: 4/5 Sauces (Spicy and Colorado Gold): 5/5 Iced Tea: 2/5 6/7/22: second picture is same meal ordered a year later. Burnt ends were definitely burnt, in a bad way. Hot link was 2.5/5 and pork was 3.5/5. I?m just going to stick with GQue BBQ if I?m in South Denver.
