Delicious food at a great price, accompanied by fantastic staff. The chili can be hit or miss; some days it's not quite up to par, but on other days, it has wonderful spice and truly enhances the breakfast burrito! View all feedback.
What Pete Lurquin doesn't like about Tamale Kitchen:
I’m giving this restaurant two stars, only because the food was good. However, they messed up my order—something they seem to do frequently, given the numerous signs in the restaurant stating they’re not responsible once you leave. I had to pay again and then wait fifteen minutes in the store while others in line behind me received their orders first. Let's just say that customer service is not their strong suit. It was a different style than I'm accustomed to, but the Carne asada resembled and tasted more like shredded beef.
This place gets very busy. Like line out the door busy every morning. To everyone complaining about them not picking up the phone, find somewhere else to go. This is a great local spot that doesn't need to change to cater to people who think they aretoo special to wait in line.
Got 6 red, 6 green rice, plus 2 hard tacos. They were damn good! Not soggy with the bottom falling out by the time I got home. 1st time there and we will be bck!!! Both types of tamales were tasty. I can only hope they make sweet tamales during theholidays!!

I've been enjoying burritos from this place for years, and I eventually came to the realization that they're one of my favorite comfort foods. They’re affordable and may not look like much, but they are incredibly delicious. Much like ice cream, mac and cheese, or a well-crafted cocktail, one of Tamale Kitchen's gooey special burritos feels like a personal hug in food form that never fails to brighten my day. I highly recommend it!
