What Jackie Lee doesn't like about The Oystercatcher:
Unfortunately, the food at this restaurant did not meet our expectations. We are local residents and have visited a few times, hoping for an improvement in the food quality. I ordered the pork belly with crackling, but had to send it back as it had been reheated in a microwave and was too tough to cut through. The mashed potatoes were also cold. My husband's pepperoni pizza only had 4 pieces of pepperoni and was cold... View all feedback.

My husband's pepperoni pizza only had 4 pieces of pepperoni and was cold as well. The manager seemed preoccupied with his laptop rather than attending to customers. It is disappointing as we had hoped to frequent this establishment more often, but we will not be returning and cannot recommend it to our friends and family. Price per person: £80-90. Food: 1. All food was amazing Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Trio of Meat Sunday Roast Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
Went here for an anniversary dinner. We both wanted the pork belly. We were told at 5pm on a Sunday it had sold out. The chef however managed to find pork belly for the table behind us. When I challenged this with the waitress, she said I was wrong. The table behind us then asked for apple sauce. I know for a fact they were served pork belly. This left a bad taste with me. If the waitress is going to lie, be better and more discreet. I made it clear I knew and that I wasn’t leaving a tip. I wanted a pudding but under principle, I didn’t have one and went elsewhere for pudding. Won’t be back. I don’t like liars Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
This restaurant is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious and they are very dog-friendly. The open fires really add to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The price per person is around £30-40. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
