The restaurant offers a large buffet featuring home-cooked meals with a rotating menu. Please note that they are now closed on Mondays. If you're looking for a cozy southern-style dining experience, this place is a great choice. I highly recommend visiting on Wednesdays, as I particularly love their chicken and noodles! What User doesn't like about Sandy's Homeplace Cafe:
The atmosphere is a little busy, so make sure you have at least an hour for lunch. It's a buffet style lunch, but you cannot eat all you want. You can only take one meat portion for your $8.25 (debit card price) or $7.50 (cash price). You can have more of the sides. Unsweetened tea is the only drink offered and they put a pitcher of it on your table. Also provide sugar and Sweet Low. Very Southern. View all feedback.
This is my favorite place to go to lunch with my dad. Wednesdays are chicken and dumpling day, our favorite! Sandy is so sweet and her staff is amazing. The tastiest homemade food in little rock hands down.
This is a small buffet style place with good homemade southern food. There is one main entrée per day all made by sandy (the owner). I love it and to whenever I can make the lunch hours. My favr is the chicken pot pie and the chicken n dumplins
We have been eating with sandy for years. if they are looking for a place to eat that offers them fine food, they are at the wrong place. but if they want to eat consistent, excellent home cooked. that's the place we're going to.
I'm so thankful for Sandy Woods and Sandy's Homeplace Cafe! It is the best comfort food in Arkansas! I love the Chicken and Dumplings and the Chicken Fried Steak. I can't get enough!
Good Blue Plate Buffet. If you want linen tablecloths and outstanding service don't go here. You got Serve Yourself, and can eat all you want of everything except for the days meat of choice. Been there 40 years, and I've been doing 27. She must be doing something right.
